KINGDOM PROMISE FOR YOU TODAY 260910

12 Go, and proclaim these words toward the north, and say, “‘Return, faithless Israel, declares the LORD. I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful, declares the LORD; I will not be angry forever. 13Only acknowledge your guilt, that you rebelled against the LORD your God and scattered your favors among foreigners under every green tree, and that you have not obeyed my voice, declares the LORD. (Jeremiah 3:12-13 ESV)

Since the beginning of time, man has always run away from God to hide himself when he sins against God. Adam and Eve, our great grand parents did just that (Gen. 3:8). It continues even today. Many times, when I discovered I have sinned against God, there is that fear and heaviness in me to approach God.

This is not strange for the Bible says that, “If our heart does not condemn us, we have confidence toward God” (1 John 3:21 NKJV). In other words, there is no confidence in approaching God when we sin.

But today, I come to you with this good news. God’s Word says, “For if our heart condemns us, God is greater than our hearts and knows all things” (1 John 3:20 NKJV). God is greater than anything that condemns you child of God.

Maybe you have sinned against God and you feel unworthy to get to God. Listen to what He who is greater than anything that condemns you says: “Return… I will not look on you in anger, for I am merciful… I will not be angry forever.” (Jer. 3:12). Return like the prodigal son; return like King David. God will be merciful to you.

God promises that as we return to Him, acknowledging our guilt of rebellion against His Word, He will not look on us with anger. In other Words, you will be forgiven and restored. The prodigal son acknowledged his sin. He was forgiven and restored (Luke 15:21-22). King David acknowledged his sin and was forgiven (2 Sam. 12:13). The Bible says, “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness” (1 John 1:9 NKJV).

Child of God, God wants you to return to Him. He wants to restore all that you have lost because of disobedience. He says, “Draw near to God and I will draw near to you” (James 5:8 NKJV). As for me, I am returning to God. I hope you too will so that you will be totally restored and receive all that God has for you.

Kingdom Confession

I return to the Lord today. The Lord does not look on me with anger. The Lord is merciful to me. I acknowledge my sin and rebellion against God. I am forgiven and cleansed according to His Word in the name of Jesus. I am fully restored and have full rights and privileges as a Kingdom child.

Let’s Pray

Father God, thank You for You are a God who forgives always. Thank You for the Blood of Jesus that gives us access to Your thrown of grace to obtain mercy and help in times of need. I confess that I have sinned against You. I therefore ask for your mercy Lord. Forgive me according to Your Word and cleanse me from all unrighteousness. Restore unto me, O God, the joy of my salvation and renew a right spirit within me. Thank You for being a merciful and forgiven Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, Amen!!
